Mobilize makes the most of Renault Group’s expertise and its industrial infrastructure in relation to the circular economy. Its Refactory in Flins, near Paris, is the first automotive site in Europe to specialise in the circular economy. Mobilize is developing new applications based on using second-life batteries for low-carbon energy storage and management.

The Flins factory has been a leader in electric battery repair since 2011. Renault Group aims to repair 20,000 batteries by 2030. Electricity storage is another of the group’s key strengths. Mobilize has established a facility to store electricity from renewable energy sources by reusing vehicle batteries. Waste is now a thing of the past!
